        Hello guys!

3 days ago, I had adopted a sweet rabbit named Freckles. She’s still adjusting to her new environment, but her and Biff get along very well. They had bonded together at the rescue centre for a week and they’re absolutely in love! They sleep, eat and play together all day.

The worker at the shelter had told us that they were finding it hard to find her a new home, because people were scared of her red eyes. This made me very sad, because she was a very attractive bunny with beautiful white fur and black “freckles” on her ears.

And without further ado, here she is with Biff:

So cute and they look very happy together. Unfortunately it’s an all too common story that many rabbits with red eyes are very often overlooked for adoption because they’re scary. As a kid, I thought they were scary too, but not anymore.

Black cats in rescues unfortunately also suffer a similar fate.

She is gorgeous! I have trouble understanding the trouble since I had an albino guinea pig as a teen that I adored.

A friend came over and loved all of our bunnies – except the two with red eyes. She said they were scary. Although she also said dewlaps were weird and she’s want a boy bun so he wouldn’t have one. Some people’s friends. *rolls eyes* I don’t mind them at all! I think Caesars are neat because inside the red are rings of a bluish color. Very neat!

So sweet!!! Beautiful bunnies! Love those dark ear tips. Reminds me of an arctic hare. Very pretty.

Sorry. I haven’t been on in a while so I haven’t been able to reply.

I’m so glad they get along and she appreciates all your comments – hehe.
