MoSimba’s cage sits to the right of me, in front of the sliding glass doors, he loves his cage spot esp. when the sun shines in on him, he snoozes so peacefully in the sun.

But do you think ‘he thinks’ I’m snubbing him since my side is to him while I’m on the computer? I’ve noticed a lot of the time when I’m on the computer he turns his back or side to me too. Maybe he’s enjoying looking out the glass door? or maybe he’s snubbing me back.  I read all the stuff at the rabbit speak site and can’t decide. I’m already paranoid and back out of the room when he’s facing me so his feelings won’t get hurt. I also do circles in front of him and he seems to like that, lol
        I’m probably over analyzing aren’t I? I just want a happy bun.

I think if anything he may think you are ignoring him a little but I doubt he is feeling too snubbed….You could try turning and staring at him some and doing the bunny nose wiggles and the bunny smiles (blinking) as the language site says to do and see how he reacts…he may just be turning away because he is looking at other stuff since you are busy? I think if he was feeling snubbed he’d be pulling full out rabbit pouting!

thanks, I think maybe so too, a mini ignore, um…I do turn to him and gaze often and I do nose wiggles too, guilty of that, lol..
If I give him a treat he’ll turn around and face me for a while also. If I reach in to pet him he immediately turns my way and drops his
head for a rub. I imagine after being ignored he may feel a little overwhelmed with all this new attention*shrug*
This Thurs will be a month that I’ve had him.

I have the same setup with my bunny. However, she lets me know when she feels neglected by rattling the cage for me so I haveta come over and give her pets and a treat. Other than that, she either watches me work or goes about her own business. So I don’t think he feels he’s being snubbed.

Meadow’s cage was across from the computer desk before we moved it this weekend.  i’d turn around and look at her and she’d be sitting on top of her wood house just glaring at me straight on.  i usually took that as my sign to let her out…  lol.
