Is alpha bad for bunnies?  I bought  food from vita rabbit that is alpha based b/c my bunny quit eating her timothy hay.

It depends on how old your rabbit is. Rabbits over (I think it’s 7 months) should get timothy based pellets.

I also forgot to say try another grass hay. Like Bermuda, or Orchard?

what will happen if they eat the alpha based pellets.  I bought a 20 pound bag and what brand is better for them and where do I get it.

Well, it’s not bad for rabbits but I’m not sure it makes sense to switch pellets if she isn’t eating her hay. Have you tried Orchard Grass hay?

I ditto Sarita – not sure how alfalfa would help with the consumption of the hay. It actually might hinder it since alfalfa is higher in calories and calcium, and so he will most definitely fill up on it.

Is your bunny still eating other foods okay.  Was your bunny eating the Timothy just find and then just stopped?  Definitely can be a diet related thing, but it wouldn’t hurt to have a look at his teeth to make sure the alignment is okay.
