  I did some research on Dutch rabbits for personality. But I couldn’t seem to find much about their size other than relatively small. So……how big do they get?

  Monkeybun’s Moosie boy is about 4 pounds. He’s a very good size. Not too big nor too small.

  I just looked it up. According to a rabbit breed site (can’t say the name here), the max size for purebred Dutch bunnies is 5 1/2 pounds.

  Lulu is about 6lb. but she might not me a pure bread. we aren’t sure.

  For some reason, I thought they were a larger breed, so when the sites said small, I wasn’t sure what that meant. lol

  Also, different breeds can still have Dutch-like markings… so it’s possible to have a 10lb New Zealand that looks “Dutch”, but isn’t. But yes, actual Dutches are “average in size”… 5lbs.

  Dutch bunnies are good at 4-6 pounds, I recently saw a vet tech for a toenail trim and my almost full grown Dutch bun weighed in at 4.3.
