just as the title says, should i feed my bunny alfalfa or timothy hay? donut is almost 4 months old and doesn’t like to eat his current hay even if i put in fresh hay. so, i’m planning on ordering online either alfalfa or timothy, but not sure which is better. also, which brand should i purchase the hay from?

        thanks!

Purchase locally if you can Fresher the better

At this age, you can start switching to Timothy which is the hay an adult bun should have. If he’s not eating alfalafa anyways I’d go ahead and make the switch.

What is his current hay? Aren’t you in Western Australia? I’d be surprised if you can get hold of timothy hay…
