aawww no, I know it’s a new adventure each day to see what they’re decided to try chewing, sorry about your pole. I guess my monthly trip to the vet with my Toby is a nice trade off. His teeth are so crooked they have to be trimmed so poor baby can’t gnaw like the rest of the pack. (he gets his carrots grated)

Hey bunnytowne, be glad your bun got the CORK end of the pole. Years ago, after a fishing trip with my kids, my hubby left the pole (with hook still attached to leader and the smell of fish on it) in the house and–not ONCE but TWICE!–my oldest cat found the hook and got it stuck through his lower lip and gum area. You’d think after the first time (when we were able to safely dislodge the hook) hubby would’ve put it in a safer place, but when we had to take Fuzzy to the vet to have it surgically removed the second time…well. No more fishing poles in THIS house! >.<
I’ll never forget it. Neither will the hubby, as he was in the doghouse for quite awhile after that.
