Gina was full of energy today during her morning floor time.
After the usual thorough explore to check nothing had changed, and a few zooms up and down the stairs, she started doing her bunny 500s around the living room. Only, instead of doing her usual 2-3 runs round, and then an abrupt about turn, and going in the opposite direction, she ran under the dining table, which is in the corner of the living room, and at full speed, used the legs of the dining chairs in an almost identical way my son used to use poles for agility training at football. I kept expecting a head-on collision, she went so fast. She looked very pleased with herself after, but typically, carried out this great display when I did not have the camera!
Soon after, she decided the curtain must be hiding some great secret. She tried to jump up under them, half made it onto the window sill, but it was covered in clutter, and she couldn’t get a good grip, and tumbled down. It seemed to leave her a bit winded, and I went to check she was ok, but she didn’t see the need for that and hopped away, so I think she’s ok. But anyone who thinks a small bun can’t jump that high, Gina is 3lb, and the sill is 73cm high. If it had been only slightly less, or maybe, just had no clutter, she would have made it!
