i can’t really help you with those questions b/c i am not sure.  i did a quick search but i couldn’t find a truly reputable source.

          can i ask you a few questions…?

how are the babies doing?  is mom tending to them?

does your family have some kind of plan of action?

1.How old are baby bunnies when they start to walk?  My understanding is around 2 weeks.

2.How old are they when they can start eating hay and pellets? Babies begin to wean between 4 – 6 weeks,(though they will begin to nibble on hay and pellets here and there before then – usually after their eyes open)  but they shouldn’t be fully weaned until 8 weeks so that they can be sure to get rich nutrients from their mother for a healthy system.

3.When do they first open their eyes and are able to hear?  Open eyes: between 10 – 14 days.   Hearing about seven days after but that could because they can move their ears right about then, where as before their ears were tucked back.

Now these are just my facts and figures, but those who have real experience with this may be able to give you personal experience.

Has your mom contacted the humane society to see if they can handle/know how to handle a mom & baby buns. I know that this isn’t an ideal situation but I dont’ think you have the ability nor the facilities to raise 11 baby buns.

You must get if off the babies neck, it could strangle the little one, but be careful not to hurt it.
You have good advise from others here. I defiantly would not wean babies until they are 8 weeks.

yes – I responded to your other post as well and hope you’ve removed the fluff successfully.
