So I can tell that thumper is a little mad at me after the spay because she keeps giving me the bunny butt ! Lol! today was the first day that she showed interest to come outside and play she was nawing on her cage and we opened the door and she hopped right out! so I’m super excited that she’s getting back to her normal self the only thing I’m worried about is that she did a Binky while she was out! so I’m worried if that’s gonna hurt her?! I’m not really sure how to stop her from doing that! also , she’s giving me a hard time with the meta-cam she gets mad when I give it to her. I think she doesn’t like the syringe being put in your mouth! my husband couldn’t give it to her last night, so I had to give it to her last night after work and was only able to give her half the medicine. today my kids help me by having her in a trance by petting her and laying with her and I was able to get in most of it. I’m getting super stressed out every time I have to give her the medicine because I know it’s a fight !

If she’s running/jumping/binky-ing a little too enthusiastically you should limit her space for a few more days – I had Buttercup confined to her pen for about 5 days (usually she shares the living room and kitchen with Peanut, they have half each) and then we expanded the space a little but still didn’t give her full access, for a further 5 days.

As for the metacam, I put it on a piece of lettuce every morning for her and she gobbled it up – obviously it’s ideal to put it directly in her mouth but for me, I felt it would stress her out far too much and she got on well with the lettuce method so felt no need to change my technique.

Ok I can try the lettuce method. I’m worried I gave her too much space today! I hope it didn’t screw her ?
