Charlie took her last dose of her 14 day course of Zeniquin today to treat  Actinobacillus. Just a few hours after taking it she had a sneezing fit and blew out a big glob of thick yellow mucous. I had already planned to call vet tomorrow to see about extending the antibiotic as she was still having a bit of sneezing, but I hadn’t seen discharge for a while. I was shocked to see this tonight. I thought this type of discharge was pretty much over.  It looked like what she was doing before the antibiotic and this is the one that worked in the culture dish.

        Bummer….

are you seeing a exotic rabbit specialist? This is important as antibiotics are only given to bunnys when desperate and the type given can be dangerous. I would contact them immediately and respiratory infections are and can be deadly fast for them. If they don’t help anymore then you think contact another exotic rabbit specialist asap for a second opinion. Good luck
