  I adopted a rabbit on Saturday. They couldn’t tell me much about him. They think he is about 6 months but not sure. We brought him home and he settled in straight away. He is very friendly and likes a stroke. Hates being picked up but I believe this is normal anyway. Yesterday he started being quite stroppy with me and then today he bite me when I tried to pick his food up after he knocked it all over the floor. He has also started running at me when i change his dirty bedding. (As he is inside this has got to be gone weather he likes it or not). He has picked up using a litter tray really quickly for his wee, so I would guess his previous owners had already trained him. Again he hates me changing the litter tray. He is only locked again at night and has plenty of toys so he can’t be bored. I have read that having him neutered should help. I have booked him in for Wednesday this week.
  
  Have you got any ideas? He only seems to do it to me, not my partner. My partner thinks he is trying to dominate me!! I am guessing this is rubbish but any info you think would be helpful would be much appreciated

  No not yet he is booked in for this Wednesday. I booked it today after he bite me lol

  That will help. Also rabbits can be very territorial about their stuff as well – this may change as he is neutered, settles in and ages. So maybe try not to clean or fool with his stuff when he is in his enclosure.

  Stickers used to run up and nip me on the butt when I changed her litter box. She stopped doing it after a while. Some buns can be very territorial. Do it while he’s away until he calms down.

  Lol, I do try and make sure he is not in his cage but as soon as he sees me going towards the cage he runs straight back in, he makes me laugh but I need yo sort the issue before he starts being funny with my children, thank you for your help 🙂

  A loud squeal when he starts to charge might work, or a firm “No” and redirect. Don’t yell and don’t be mean, just let him know you do not approve. With Stickers, I would sometimes tell her “no” and put my hand on her and gently block her from getting closer to me so she couldn’t bite, after a few gentle pushes back she would get fed up and thump and hop away. Risks the hand getting bitten though if they decide to lash out. She would only nip me, so I wasn’t worried about it.
