This wonderful bunny love is 1 of Melindas babies which were born in May. She is Simon and Sneakers sister. June is spayed and tons of bunny hopping fun. She loves to play and explore the world around her. She is litterbox trained. She was hand raised in a foster home and has lots of house manners. She is currently at Posh Pets in Pacific Grove. Come in to meet this lovely bunny – you won’t be sorry.

 

  My name is Sabrina and I am a spayed female, white and tan Shorthaired Rabbit, I’ve been mistaken for a Siamese cat ! The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, I’m on the mellow side, but still love to wander & occasionally Binky! I require daiily snuggles & snacks! I was rescued Jun 23, 2009.

Cleo & Thumper have been in our care for the past year. They yearn for a home with a safe yard as they are quite independent bunnies who need space. They love fresh veggies/greens & straw balls. clean w/
litterbox, both approx 1yr old, both spayed & neutered. Easy to maintain!

My name describes me w/ no further explanation. I am a New Mexico rescue & still quite young, maybe 3 mos old. I am quite clean considering I love to dig & find places to bury myself, like towels & blankets. I love cardboard boxes so you’ll need to collect a few. My favorite treat is a slice of apple every AM which I devour. Hand me a toilet paper roll stuffed w/hay,   fresh alfalfa & I am a happy camper !
 I would love a bunny friend!

I swear I didn’t do it !! I am innocent beyond a twitch of my cute litl’ nose! I will admit to performing outta control BINKIES but otherwise I am nothin’ but a normal sweet average juvenile all gray boy experiencing life to the fullest. I was on death row when the AFRP Rabbit Rescue team found me w/ my siblings. I am grateful for everyday & simply like to express my gratitude.
I am approx 3 mos old & will be neutered soon.

My name is ZIGGY & I am one of those overlooked bunnies becuz I’m not considered “pretty” so I make up for it in my quirky personality. I am an expert Binky performer, I even did a flip (by accident but still, Geez)
I am soon to be neutered but am ready for a home today if someone happens to meet my standards which include supplying me w/willow balls, endless hay, toys, a very safe snuggly place to sleep & hang out.  Plenty of love required of course!

Sable is a gorgeous deep dark brown beauty we snitched from certain death at the shelter. She was not happy  being locked up in a cage so we would love to have her in a nice spacious pen & an excerise yard. She may even like another bunny friend. Too beautiful to turn our backs on, she is a medium to large size bun & likes to be held!

      My name is FARLEY,  properly SIR FARLEY. I am a neutered male, gray and white Dutch mix.  I am approx about 1 year &1 month old. I was saved from the streets of Salinas, brought to the shelter, then rescued by the AFRP Rabbit volunteers. OH how they spoil me! My new home has to be at  least as good as I got it now, after all, I am priveledged! I come w/toys, I just need fresh veggies, hay & a  handful of pellets. I ask for very little & give tremendously! I will be your best friend!  I was rescued  July 22, 2009.

Mittens is the lucky sister of Simon, Sneakers, Claire & June. She’s a beautiful sweet bunny whose owner surrendered her due to fianancial hardship.
She was born in the Salinas Shelter shortly after her parents were rescued. She is 1 yr 3 mos old and is spayed. She misses her family & would love to be fostered, or better yet, adopted into a new family that will never abandon her again !

To simply say, I am one special girl ! I was rescued from the Santa Cruz Shelter w/my sibling 12 hrs before I was on the “list”, so here I am with a second               chance to live a long life. I  come w/a smile & love in my heart. Not yet spayed!

Doesn’t matter where I am or who I’m with, I’m me so accept it !I came from Placerville Calif., quite a long road trip, but AFRP wanted me & now I’m hoping you do too.Take me home & I’ll prove to you I’m worth every minute of your time & all  the love in your heart. TWIX is our neutered Santa Cruz rescue who had 12 hrs left before (the bad thing) so he is now available to be someones sweetheart. He’s slighty ticked Blk/Gray & spunky, restless, ready to BINKY about. May be in need of a girl friend for snuggles & companionship. He is living at POSH until he finds his family. SKOR is Twixs’ brother who came to us on July 17th 2009 at 2 mos old. They are young adventurous neutered boys hoping everyday someone sees their inner beauty. They only want love, hay, water & some free time to skitter about. Quiet & trainable if adopted at this early age !

 I am a quiet bunny, loud noises are not for me! In fact I would prefer to find a big cuddly boyfriend who would protect me from that scary outdoor world I never ever want to experience the outdoors again! Or let be stay w/my brother COSMO. I am COSMO & one heck of a lucky bunny to have been rescued by the AFRP Rabbit Rescue Volunteers! I come from the massive group of 335 rabbits in New Mexico, that were brought up into Calif. I was too young to travel any further due to stress. But now I’m rested & safe & ready to ROCK & ROLL! I would LOVE to stay w/my brother WINNIE, he needs me!

I’m really not a high maintence kinda girl, toss me a leaf of lettuce & a willow ball, maybe a free romp around the house, and I’ll be a happy camper! Try me – you’ll like me. Actually, you’ll LOVE me !  I was brought to the shelter Jul 16, 2009. AFRP RESCUED me August 6th, 2009

SHARKY is an outgoing soft gray single neutered young boy. Lots of personality, always looking for alittle action. Looks to be a lion head mix, a couple mis-placed log tufts of hair makes him all the more unique!  Probably won’t get very big. Needs room to romp and play! Litter box trained, he is living in a Foster home until his permanent family adopts him .

Pepe – Special Needs Rescue

 

Pepe came to the AFRP from the San Jose Shelter with a head tilt due to an infection with Pasturella and E. CuniColi. After three months of anti-biotics, he’s feeling great! He will have head tilt for all of his life and would do best as an only bunny or with one that has tested positive for pasturella in the past. He will also need help grooming his face and keeping his eyes clean because he has trouble doing it himself. The extra attention will pay off in the end because he is a very sweet and loving little bunny. Quick Facts Gender: Male (Fixed) Age: 1 year Breed: Dwarf Mix                               Location: Currently in Foster Care

Twix and Skor, huh? Hmmm…somebody was thinking of good chocolate bars while naming those two cuties! ^_^
Yeah, I’m not getting all the pictures either… Maybe it’s due to the revamping going on behind the scenes here.
