For the holidays I have come home and been staying at my parents house, of course I had to bring my precious baby, Lola. She’s so loveable with me, but it took her a while to warm up to my parents. She loves my dad because he keeps giving her treats (he’s spoiling her), and she used to love my mom until she decided to tease her and hide her cardboard chew toy. She immediately started clawing at her to try and find it, even nipped at her a few times which was funny. She gave her her toy back but Lola held a grudge against her the rest of that night, growling if my mom reached for one of her toys. That went away the next day.

Ever since then, though she doesn’t hop up to my mom when she comes home. My mom will lay on the ground to get her to come up to her but she’ll hop up and just keep clawing and biting at her. Won’t even let her pet her anymore. I find it funny, but she got her toy back so I don’t know why she keeps doing this? My mom thinks she hates her now and is a bit upset about it. I just don’t know what she’s doing so if anyone has any idea I’d appreciate it!

Has your Mom tried giving her treats? Make sure they know not to overdo the treats, though. You don’t want to have to deal with tummy issues over the holidays.

Ugh, I know I keep trying to tell him to stop, and luckily he’s cut down on it lol! She hasn’t gotten one in a few days so tomorrow I’ll have my mom try and suck up to her. Thank you!

(PS: I keep having to watch her when she goes under the tree because she doesn’t seem to realize that this is a fake tree and she can’t eat it )

Rabbits can hold a grudge, but as per rabbit culture, you just need to apologise. Bribing is good, haha, but small quantities.
