Ah the curiousity of kittens! I had completely forgotten what it was like to have a kitten in the house. So long story short my sister convinced my mom that she is responsible enough to have a kitten (my sister’s 17), I would have liked for her to go to a shelter but her best friends cat had an accidental litter (she has been fixed now) so she chose to help them by taking one of the kittens. Her name is Tigerlily.
SOOO this week I have been home all day since Monday dealing with bronchitus and a sinus infection (EW GROSS
) and also dealing with an 8 week old kitten, a puppy who wants so badly to play with the kitten and a bunny who thinks the kitten is trying to take over “her” space…This afternoon while lying on the couch I realized that the kitten is no longer sleeping against my legs and all of a sudden I hear this HUGE scuffle from Smudge’s cage in the kitchen so I jump up and race to the kitchen to find a VERY P.O’d bunny in her litter box and a kitten sitting in the condo looking like “how the hell did I get in here?” Apparently Tigerlily managed to leap from the little side table about a foot and a half away from Smudge’s cage, bounce off her playpen standing folded up next to the condo and scramble into the condo from there…..
Smudge was fine, just a little scared and then mad because that is her house! Tigerlily was also fine, her and Smudge have had introductions before through the playpen and have basically ignored each other after some sniffing so there was no fight just two very confused pets!
I forgot what having a kitten is like, needless to say I’m going to have to create a lid for Smudge’s condo now… what an afternoon. Oh and here are some pictures of the little rascal!
She’d like you all to believe that she’s a sweet innocent angel who sleeps all day….
but really….
She’s an evil psycho kitty waiting on the fireplace to attack you as you walk by or possibly jump onto the curtains if you take to long to entertain her
But sometimes she’s cute… I guess…
ETA: This is about 10 minutes after the unwanted roomie episode… she looks severly traumatized doesn’s she?

Samantha- is it evil of me to be glad that I’m not the only one who suffers from bronchitis and sinus infections at the same time??! Not that I’m glad you’re sick of course! I just always get both at the same time and have never met anyone else who has gotten both at the same time!!! I hope you feel better soon!

Well my sister got home and thought that her psycho kitty’s adventures were quite funny… but it wont be so funny when its 3am and she’s trying to sleep! Anyways hopefully when Tigerlily is a little older they will be able to at least coexist
Annette we used to have a dog that thought she was part cat! hahah well K&K I have missed alot of school so thats not exactly fun, but sleeping all day has its benefits! And of course all the animals think it’s so much fun to have someone home all day. Smudge is loving 12+ hours of being out!
Oh and Markus I like to think of the “We are Siamese” song from Lady and the Tramp.. she is only part Siamese so hopefully only part evil… yeah lets go with that.
Bob the Bunny – I ALWAYS get them together its terrible. Actually the last time I got a throat infection along with them (basically strep throat but when strep throat gets worse). I have practically no immune system and the most frustrating thing I find is that I’m sick more than most people and no one understands because they only even get one infection not 2 or 3 every time! Glad to know I’m not alone.
