Do they have a litterbox in the room where you let them run around? If so, you could try putting them in a pen in that room with the litterbox for an hour or so before you give them free run of the room. If they’re confined to that small area, they’re more likely to start using the box, and hopefully will return to it when needed, once they get used to it.

Time to ditch the BF or put HIM in the shed.

I don’t think I’ll ever understand why guys that have nothing to do w/ the cleaning up really care if the bunns poop it up.  DH stated that he is concerened that the bunnies leave a few poops here & there.  I told him that was the least of my worries….as long as they don’t pee on anything, I really don’t care.

Are all 4 of the bunnies bonded together? Are they all neutered/spayed? If you have unbonded bunnies, or unaltered bunnies, that likely has a lot to do with the marking. If they are unbonded and/or unaltered and share the same run area, they are smelling the other buns and having to claim that space as their own. That is natural rabbit behavior and is not a result of bad littertraining.

Honestly, poop is not a big dea to most of us bunny slaves. They are solid and dry, you could just get a good hand vac and suck them up when the bunnies are done.

Oh yuck! I could see how that would be annoying then! Some members have dogs that eat them up, but they usually don’t come back out when they do. Can they have playtime somewhere the dog doesn’t go, or when the dog is playing outside?
