My bunny girl just recently passed away. I have been looking on petfinder.com to find my surviving bunny boy a friend.

What is your opinion of trios? Should only experienced Moms take on this challenge?

I did see a girlfriend that I liked. She is similar age and size as my male. They are both altered.
I also saw a sweet male rabbit that isn’t neutered yet. He had a sad story and I have a soft heart. I want to help him too…. but I am not sure that two males in a trio is a good idea either.

        What do you think?

I’m sorry to hear of this. Was this Ellie that passed away? (You mentioned her in your other thread.)
How is the boy (Beau?) doing since she passed?

I just bonded my trio (in finishing stages on finalizing their bond), I have two males and one female. The other boy would definitely have to be neutered for male/male bonding. I wasnt really experienced in bonding since my first two instantly bonded, it was hard and many frustrating moments and little tiffs, but well worth it in the end!
