Bear with me for the long story, I just wanna share my excitement!

About 7 years ago I adopted 2 6month old nethies. At around 4 Yr old Boston my male bun got a tooth root abscess, he was put on meds as palliative care and given 2 weeks. He has been thriving on his meds for over 2 years now!

Part way through his treatment he lost his partner, he was sad but he soldiered on and as a spunky nethie with a complicated medical history I wasn’t sure about rebonding him.

Fast forward to last month, my vet said he was so impressed with how Boston was doing that he was happy for him to meet some girls. I spoke with a rescue that does dates and took him in!

It took 2 weeks and a lot of dates but my little man finally gave in chose a lady! They’re so cute together and I haven’t seen him this relaxed and content for so long.

The new girl is a harlequin and her name is Snickers!

She’s beautiful! Yay! She reminds me of my Japanese harlequin Yohio.
