Both rabbits are 4 yrs old and spayed/neutered. Both are extremely calm and easy going. Male rabbit has suddenly started mounting female rabbit non-stop. They both have free roam of house with lots of toys so i dont think its boredom. Any thoughts on why this sudden behaviour?

How long have they been together, and how long have they each been spayed/neutered?

Both neutered/spayed when they were one. They have been bonded for two years now.
Also, Gimli, the one mounting, had a complete health exam including blood work two months ago that came back okay.

Any new smells or changes in the house?

How long after his vet appointment did this start? Sometimes vet visits can trigger bond problems.
