Hey Ami – my hubby said the same thing as your boyfriend, lol! But at the end of the day it’s easier to pack away a rug than a rabbit! (at least I hope so, ha hah!). Sorry BF, but I think the only solution is to pack the rug up and let Pepsi out, then bring the rug out when you have visitors and restrict her access then. It would be a terrible shame for Pepsi to lose her freedom over a rug. And please, don’t think for a minute I am being flippant, “I’m not”! My beautiful house is now ugly! I have moved all my chewable furniture into another room, it’s now overcrowded and looks downright horrible. My kitchen/dining room, where do I start – lets just say I have cardboard boxes, toilet rolls and straw throughout the room. (I cringe every morning). But what can you do? Love her! Sorry Ami, I know this isn’t what you want to hear (and I sooo know this), but she’s your girl, and that’s what we do. Other BBer’s may have suggestions how to keep her off the rug, but I think it’s just easier to remove it and then put it out when your guests visit. I feel for you Ami, but it sounds like other than the rug you have a great girl there with Pepsi. Idiot me – Henry is sooo naughty, and still did all that ‘for him’! Doh!
