Hey guys,
I just needed some help on two problems that has been bothering me but I never seeked out more help. Firstly, I have two bonded (and neutered) male rabbits. They have lived together since they were babies(Both 4 months old now). However, I noticed BOTH poop and pee everywhere but the litter box.(Their whole life together was like this, but it got worse over the weeks) They sleep in the litter box and go to the restroom everywhere! It’s a big mess. I tried putting in 2-3 litter boxes in places they usually go, but they seem to ignore the litter box and pee + poop on the floor, and again, sleep in their litter boxes. What are some ways I can fix this, any advice? They always sleep together in the litter box, in which they never use as a restroom; and I find it cute but I am so dumb-founded lol.
My second problem is that I have a recently neutered buck (about 5-6 weeks ago) and I didn’t want to house him with the doe, because I asked this before and you guys said it was best not to put him with the doe until she is spayed. I noticed he won’t stop biting his cage. He litterally bites away almost 50% of the wood of the hutch. He has plenty of toys/chew toys, in which he doesn’t bother with much. Also, he contstantly bites at the metal of his cage every day for long periods. I take him out 2 hours in the afternoon, and another hour or two at night during weekdays. (weekends he is out more)….but he consistently bites his cage once I put him in. anyway to stop this/advice?
Thank you so much !
