Things at home at not going too well since I have taken in my friend’s piggie and bunny to sit whilst she is on holidays in Bali.

Gosh, I feel like I have gone backwards with Luey now … My own fault!  Luey comes out of his pen when I clean up and refresh bedding, food and water … he generally just hops around and is not bothered with my being in his area.  Now, he is pooping like mad around me and last night I received two doses of ‘Luey’s Special Spray Bunny Scent’ all up my legs and arms!  Aarrggghhhhh!  I know he’s doing this because of the other ‘strange’ bunny in the house.  Luey is on one side of the room and the boarding bunny on the other.  I also copped a beauty bunny bite on my hand later on in the evening.  This little guy is hard work, but its not his fault I know.

Do you think it wise to keep him in his pen area until my boarders have gone home.  I am not keen on having chunks taken out of my hands each night!  This morning he was having none of me entering his cage with his cup of pellets.  He grabbed the cup and flung it over the other side of his pen with pellets flying everywhere.  Heck!

I don’t want to use the squirty bottle on him as I feel I have contributed to his aggravated biting/spraying behaviour.  But the gloves I will have to definitely use … Cask Iron ones maybe.

        Dawn xx

          Hi!

A huge and SOLVEABLE reason that he might be attacking again is that you are getting into his cage smelling like the other bunny.  I have a friend who has had a bunny for YEARS that has the same jealous behavior, and my friend NEVER goes into that bunny’s cage after beingw ith other bunnies until after she has washed her hands and changed her clothes, otherwise she gets attacked.  If you are going into the pen smelling at all like the other bunny and piggie, that can be triggering Luey’s attacks, as you are "cheating" on him with another bunny

Juggling my boyfriends is much easier than dealing with jealous bunnies! LOL
