Cincinnati has been diagnosed with pinworms.  Alarming, especially given how easy it is to catch them.  I took a fecal sample for Daisy as well.  She’s fine, yet they share run time and space, including rugs, boxes, hay, water, pens, toys – everything but pellets, treats and greens.

The poor thing is on fenbendazole.  What might cause one rabbit to be susceptible to something like this and another not to be?

It’s passed through poop, so either it was in Cincinnati already, or Cincinnati happened upon it through fecal matter. Unsure how reliable the poop tests are, but maybe the sample you took from Daisy wasn’t affected even though she is?

Do they get time outdoors? Perhaps Cincinnati got in contact with something outside.

It can’t have already been in him, unless it hangs out outside of the intestines – I’ve heard that some parasites migrate around. They’re checked regularly. They never go outside. They haven’t gotten any greens from outside for at least two years – ever since I learned about raccoon roundworms. Poor Cincinnati has the worst luck!
