I kinda want to go back to putting a whole newspaper in litterbox and plonking hay on top. It had to be changed way more often, but it was so easy to pick up the whole soiled paper, poo and hay and throw. Then reline the box. But some of my bunners took to digging at the paper and chewing it too. And then the grey feet from newsprint.
Im considering buying straw (I think it’s called “clean straw”?) putting that on top of paper, then the good hay in racks.
