It seems that ginger will sometimes nip seal in the back to move and when he does move, he does it quickly and I guess that triggers ginger when he starts running fast. This is actually the second time I am bonding them as the first bond between them was broken when Seal became very ill from an infection in his lungs and he had a catheter tube where he received his fluids and Ginger was biting it and he was without medication for a good hour. Yeah I’ve noticed some of the European welfare rabbit groups are very set on bonded pairs! I agree there is certainly nuance about it, and if the owner spends lots of time with the bun, solo buns can be very happy. I think of it kinda like dogs… dogs are super social and like to be with other dogs, but lots of people just have 1 dog!

I think you may need to give them more space and let them work through this behavior. I would stop the chase if it goes on for more than a couple seconds, but I’ve found that some amount of chasing is part of the process. Ok gotcha! So I see you mentioned that you did do some car rides and that seemed to help? Have you tried doing a car ride first, then putting them in the main bonding area for a few minutes?

No it hasn’t been warmer than normal. It is getting colder outside though.
