Obsessive Bunny Disorder! LOL
Do you guys know about Toxoplasma gondii, AKA the “Crazy cat lady parasite”? Maybe someday they will discover we’re all infected with the bunny equivalent! X-D
I’ve always wanted to do Christmas photos with all the pets! Never gotten around to it though!

I don’t think it will be a big deal at all! Skipping a day here or there usually doesn’t cause any issues, I’ve had to do this often. Maybe they will miss each other 😉

Ah, so yes it has only been a very short time!
Were any of the injuries bad enough to need medical attention? Have you had them both looked over for injuries you might not have noticed?
And yes, when a rabbit bows his head to request grooming, that is usually a dominant gesture. And then failing to groom usually means the other bun is not ready…[Read more]

In the absolute majority of cases, the unwanted, sexually driven behaviors cease within 2 weeks. It can take longer though, up to 8 weeks is not unheard of, but I can’t remember any case from these forums where it has taken that much time. (It’s very different for girl rabbits, they often need quite a bit of time).
He may still circle your feet…[Read more]

He is definitely in the teenage years! So neutering in rabbits is typically done for behavioral reasons or because the owner wants to bond the bunny. (Female rabbits, on the other hand, are important to spay because they have very high rates of reproductive cancer).
If you are seeing lots of marking (peeing and pooping all over, spraying),…[Read more]

For some reason I cannot upload a photo right now here. It just disappears when I try to or deletes by itself. I tried on computer too. I will try it later again.
I can just describe, now I have found normal droppings which she has always. And darker ones, which are unusual. It’s dark, moist and when I break it there is also hay but it’s more…[Read more]

Hi all,
So, I have a 4 month old mini lop house bunny. He has an enclosure within the house but free roams downstairs when we are in. This was fine for the first few weeks but then bunny behaviours kicked in some of which are very anti social. He continually circles my feet and I mean all the time so I have to shuffle across the room for fear of…[Read more]

I have a honey bun named Nutmeg, she is a silly sweet girl. She is not at all scittery, loves toys, and is overall a lovebug.

Hey! It’s me again posting when I said I wouldn’t 🤣
Slightly different question this time….
I am having some friends over tomorrow night for cheese and wine! But I will not be able to do a bonding session tomorrow so there will be a 1 day break… Also I am going to need to move Bella to another room for the evening until the next day (I’ll…[Read more]

Okay that makes way more sense ahaha! It definitely looked like velcro in the picture but then I wasn’t so sure 🙄  I’m very excited for them to come in 🙂  not too expensive either, definitely an investment for her. I got 2 for $45 Canadian. The seller emailed me a 10% off coupon when I had it sitting in my cart which was really nice. And l…[Read more]

We give up our peace with our landlords for our buns… and we also give up:
The cleanliness of our homes
About $520 a year per bonded pair on veggies
Hundreds of dollars in spay/neuter bills so our buns can have the best life possible
It’s worth it! 😂
The crazy things us bunny parent s do… the list goes on and on, we blow money on bunny…[Read more]

Wick & Fable replied to the topic Neutering? Is it necessary? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 4 years, 9 months ago
Chewing, pooping, and peeing are all natural behaviors in a rabbit that will never go away– however, neutering can drastically reduce chewing, pooping, and peeing that is being mediated by hormones, such as territorial marking urges and mating frustrations. There is no true way of knowing whether your rabbit’s change in behavior will all go away…[Read more]
