How did you give the 1mg tab of melatonin? I wouldn’t even try to put anything on her lol I would try the melatonin to see if it helps.

I know they change and go through stages. She use to be such a delightfully silly bun. Hopefully it’s just a stage.

    https://wabbitwiki.com/wiki/Spaying_and_neutering_rabbits#Before_the_operation

Above are some things to keep in mind before the operation. In terms of things to do to make things as least stressful as possible, I actually suggest simply doing as you usually would– rabbits pick up on routine easily, so sticking as close to that as you can may be…[Read more]

That’s a great question! I have sent an inquiry out to see — I know things have been tough for small businesses in general with supply shortages.

my rabbit is getting spayed in a few weeks and im really worried that she’ll be too stressed and wont make it through the surgery. is there anything i could do for her (or not do) to lower the chance of that happening? i know not to take her food before surgery, banana is her favorite so i was thinking i could give her some before we go into the…[Read more]

White rabbit, white rabbit, white rabbit!

I’ve got some good news to kick off this month: my friend has been so lucky and her rabbits aren’t fighting anymore! I was afraid that it was all going to end in disaster when the shelter made a mistake.

She sent her boy to a shelter to get bonded, but they bonded him to an unspayed girl (?!!!). The…[Read more]

Hi Ella and welcome to the nice bunny world! I’m also a new dad, only 2 weeks in, but from my experience and what I’ve seen on the web I can give you a few advice!

For the litter training, I suggest you to put her hay rack and hay inside the litter box. Since it’s a cat litter I don’t know if you’ll be able to hang a hay bag but that’s th…[Read more]

Hey everyone. I have become very anxious about the health of my 2.5 year old Lionhead, Mickey, since his most recent episode of GI stasis and some other GI issues that have since resolved. I saw a few online rabbit forums discussing aspiration pneumonia in rabbits and now I am terrified. It sounds like pneumonia is essentially not survivable for…[Read more]

You can try an eye flush with sterile eye saline solution to help get it out, though yes, your rabbit may be able to get it naturally herself soon.

Trancing is not induced by petting the ears — trancing is induced by positioning the rabbit on its back where their head is at level or lower than their behind. There are pictures included in the link I sent.
