Hmmm, I am not sure! All the maps I know about are of North America only, but I will keep an eye out for global maps. There must be some, because the outbreak is also happening in parts of Africa.
If your area has myxo I wonder if you could eventually get the vaccine that covers all three viruses (both RHDV strains and myxo)?

I agree with trying something more fragrant, and offering the same thing repeatedly, even if he doesn’t take it at first. My buns don’t care much for spinach in general. Big hits with my crew are cilantro, carrot tops, fennel, and dandelion.

**Bolded important details to help with skimming**
Hi there!
This is my first time posting here, so I’m not exactly sure how this works, but I could really use advice from anyone that’s had longer experience owning rabbits than I have. I’ve been a rabbit owner to two buns for 4 years.
My youngest bun, Mila, is just 3.5yrs old, a holland lop,…[Read more]

Hello,
As the title suggests, my rabbit doesn’t seem to want to explore passed the hallway next to her room. She’ll get curious, but won’t even look passed the door way. The bathroom is okay to explore, but mostly just gets spooked and retreats to her room. I’m wondering if this has to do more with the wooden floors or widen open spaces. I’m…[Read more]

Fresh greens are more of a treat than an important contribution to a rabbit’s diet. You can try again later. If your bun doesn’t recognize fresh greens as food, you might have to expose him to them several times before he ventures a nibble. But it’s not a problem, the rabbit GI-system is adapted to grass, which has a higher, and for rabbits, more…[Read more]

Some slight redness and swelling is normal. Inflammation is the first step in normal wound healing.
Signs to be worried about are excessive swelling and redness and seepage. If one or both of the testicular sac/s swell up, you also want to contact your vet because it could mean there’s internal leaking.
Here’s picture of my girl bun’s scar the…[Read more]

I am not sure how you are presenting the food to the rabbit, but he/she may just not know what to do with the leafy veggies. If you leave a single leaf of Romaine in the rabbit’s area overnight on a plate they may become curious and nibble at it while you are not looking. If the rabbit still isn’t interested, try a more potent smelling leafy g…[Read more]

That’s how it was with my Mango. From my understanding it is fine but if you are worried Neosporin without pain reliever is safe for use on rabbits. I read on another site that Manuka Honey Wound Care with sterilized Manuka honey as the only ingredient is also good to use – no antibiotics and safe to consume for bun buns (and other pets)

Does anyone know if RHVD2 is still around in Saudi Arabia? ♡
I’ve been checking the world infection maps and it said that the virus was seen here around 1995, if I’m correct. My clinic does not have any bun vaccines, so I can’t vaccinate my baby right now… but I’m taking all precautionary measures just to be safe.
And now I’m only hearing a…[Read more]
