I think you prob just moved to the bedroom a bit too quickly. I’d keep them in the living room for at least 48 hours. If that goes well then you can move them to the next spot, or if you need a break from supervising you keep them in the living room but don’t need to supervise 24/7 after they’ve been doing well for that 48 hours.

Yes sub-cutaneous is with a needle. I usually either hold the bun on my lap on a chair, or burrito them in a towel on a table. The burrito method would probably work well for your buns.

When I lived in a studio apartment, my solution was to build up, rather than out, so I build multi-level NIC cube condos for my buns. It was nice for bonding because I could easily reconfigure them, so I made two smaller condos before they were bonded, and then put them together into a taller condo once they were bonded.

haha! I think some people consider it kind of “junk food” because it’s basically bun-safe wood shavings that have been compressed using molasses and another non-toxic binder. How long have they spent together in the living room? I think I would try to do an overnight or “marathon” in that space. It could just be that they need to spend a little longer together for you to see grooming.

I would repeat the exact same date! A good rule of thumb is that if something goes well, repeat it a couple more times, then start increasing the length of time. 🙂
