Generally you should be giving greens twice a day, but I do understand he is isn’t an adult bunny yet. Once he is an adult he should be eating unlimited amounts of hay, all throughout the day. Once he’s an adult he should be getting 1/4 cup (per 6 pounds of body weight) a day of pellets, although you can do less. Some people choose not to feed any…[Read more]

Hi everyone! Just wondering how many times I should feed my bunny.
I usually give him pellets right in the morning and leafy greens around 12. He always has a lot of hay.
I would like some recommendations on if I should be giving him more food. Mind you heβs 4 months old.
Thanks ! π -

This looks nice! How long is your rabbit housed in there? Just a couple hours, all day? I hope your bun gets lots of free roam time but it looks nice for a couple hours a day and I’ll definitely use it as inspo! π

Unfortunately the names are more up to the kids than us. Otherwise I’d have a field day picking out matching names! LOL
I’m calling first thing Monday to get them into the vet to be sure of their sex haha and schedule their spay/neuter! They are soooo sweet. I had a Netherland dwarf as a kid, these guys are soooo much more laid back and chill.…[Read more]

Good luck, I hope you can get him to stop.

Gaaahhhh, baby Flemmies!!! π They’re so precious! More pictures please!
Back before I got Oscar I was going to get a blue Flemmie, his name would have been Floyd. Also on my future pets names list is Melvin for a light colored/grey bun, and Spencer (Spence). Ivy, if one of them turns out to be a girl. You never know π

Hiya MimzMum! Glad to see you’re back!
OK… so I didn’t know what a marmalade cat was, so I had to look it up. LOL (aka ginger)

Adorable! You should probably be careful asking for name suggestions around here. We can get a little carried away. π
Personally, I always thought of Marlo as a girl name. It’s often used as a nickname for Marilyn or Margaret. But it could be used as a boy name.
Marshmallow is sweet and cute. π
Hmm… if you want name suggestions, I will…[Read more]

They are 8 weeks old, Mom is a flemish giant and Dad is a New Zealand. They are brothers, and of course we went to pick out just one….but left with TWO. LOL
So far our daughter wants to name the gray one Marshmallow and our son wants to name the honey colored one Marlo. LOL
Any name ideas?

Sounds perfectly normal to me. Sometimes they will just flop on the floor from a standing position.

Recently me and my boyfriend have noticed our rabbit flopping in a weird way. Usually she will just lay down and stretch out. But instead she has been like dramatically flopping completely on her side, usually against a wall.Β After a couple seconds she will stretch out into a normal lounging position. She has been running around and acting…[Read more]

You just never know, so I thought I would ask. Underlying conditions can manifest themselves in some pretty strange ways. So if you don’t find a solution, then it might be worth exploring.
That being said, I do agree with Jersey. It sounds like he’s trying to defend his (and perhaps his warren’s) territory. The urge is obviously very strong,…[Read more]

Jersey is right. It will take some time to see improvement, so don’t give up yet. There is evidence that an anti-inflammatory medication can help. Also keep in mind that some degree of head tilt could become permanent, even if she is fully recovered from the EC. It just depends on where the damage is. There should be noticeable improvement though.
