    Hi,

Thanks for all of this info DanaNM! I’ve seen a few places that foraging for wild greens is a bad idea (makes sense) but I’m wondering about homegrown greens. Does anyone have any info on this? I grow a lot of greens for my buns in the summer and we do have wild rabbits in our neighborhood. They don’t seem to damage the garden but they could…[Read more]

As many may have heard, there is currently a rapidly spreading outbreak of RHDV2 in the southwestern US and Northern Mexico. There are links to detailed information from the House Rabbit Society at the bottom. Hello,

I have two Swedish landrace rabbits or Gotland rabbits, Loke and Freja. I have been trying to bond them now for around a year, I have been reading books, articles, blogs and watched countless videos on the process and also spoken with two friends who own bonded rabbits. I have achieved a certain level of familiarity but I’m uncertain if…[Read more]

UPDATE: The original vet who examined him is not booking neuter appointments until July, and then we would have to wait a few weeks after the procedure to introduce the rabbits, right?  I called around to other vets, but they are all insisting that we start over and pay for the initial exam all over again if we want him neutered somewhere else.  I…[Read more]

@Hazel, I didn’t realize it would be so cheap! I think we will give that a try! Thanks for the info.

@PinkieMarie, we actually do have one of those hanging hay feeders. They love it and use it all the time.

I watched her vids a lot before getting him ^^ lol! That’s cute in his bunny mind he’s probably saving some leftovers for you. Yeah he does this every morning first thing even before he eats is run straight to the wee pad and runs around messing it up lol! He gets full run of the house and sometimes chases them around but not much. He does tend to…[Read more]

And I agree too. Older buns can be neutered, unless the bun has a health condition that makes full anesthesia risky for him. But it’s super-important that you find a vet who is comfortable doing the procedure.

haha I got my litter box idea from Lennon the bunny to! does he get enough exercise and or play time with your dogs? (he seems pretty in love with that wee pad lol) that’s funny that he does it every morning my bunny takes a mouth full of hay and drops it in my lap at night after I feed him so maybe its just your bunnies personality!
