My tort was super unexpected.
Waverly is 103 lbs now and a brute! She’ll be a year old in June. It’s insane! My old insta, unfortunately, is no longer accessible so I had to make a new one.
Joey is a diva up and down. And I will always find it hilarious to see a 100lb dog run from an 18lb rabbit. She is also massive. I learned the painful way to…[Read more]

prince dorian the bun replied to the topic Agressive couch peeing in the forum BEHAVIOR 6 years, 4 months ago
No advice, but my bun has similar if not so determined couch behavior, so if you come up with something would love to know! (I was actually looking to post about it, so will just add myself to your thread if okay?)
Dorian is also neutered male, perfect litter box habits outside of this, even fine when he is on my bed. We thought scent driven…[Read more]

prince dorian the bun started the topic Hello! in the forum WELCOME ! 6 years, 4 months ago
Hello! I am Dorian’s companion person. Pretty new to house bun ownership, as Dorian is my first rabbit. He is about a year old (he was a rescue from the shelter, so we are guessing a bit about age) and we have been living together for 6 months now. I spent a lot of the early months catching up on questions from this forum, so I am glad I can…[Read more]

Help!
My 2 year old rabbit Luna has two very strange looking nipples (out of 4), and they feel very hard compared to her other two. I did some research and all I could find were articles talking about mammary cancer, however they never provided any pictures and the description they gave didn’t really line up with what Luna has.
I’m very sca…[Read more]

Thank you Wilbur! I re-did my slides presentation and I still have my essay. My parents told me we are going to go down to my aunts’ house, which is close to many of the shelters I’ve been looking at! 😁 I’m a little scared to ask them still.😬

Hazel replied to the topic It's official: Beau hates Timothy hay in the forum DIET & CARE 6 years, 4 months ago
Timothy hay is usually the most hated part of a bun’s diet, that’s why I think it’s best to start baby buns on it from the get go so they won’t get picky 😉 . They will accept a switch from Alfalfa pellets to Timothy pellets easier than switching the hay. I would get rid of the Alfalfa hay altogether and feed him Alfalfa pellets instead until…[Read more]

Rainn started the topic Lots of sneezes but no discharge or other symptoms? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 6 years, 4 months ago
Hello, for the past few days I’ve noticed that my rabbit has been having small sneezing fits usually every time she grooms herself before lounging/taking a nap. Should I be concerned, as there is no discharge when she sneezes and there aren’t any other symptoms that I can see. She’s been eating and drinking normally, grooms herself regul…[Read more]

Oh and to answer your last question, that is really up to you. In my mind, since you haven’t been working with them consistently, the clock hasn’t really started ticking yet. My toughest bond (i’ve had a few tough ones) took about 3-4 months of daily sessions, including very long ones (6-10 hours) towards the end. But they were totally worth it,…[Read more]

Yes I am not sure we have a quote function at the moment, but I will add it to the fixit list, as the forum is still being actively worked on!
So putting the head down is a dominance display with bunnies! It is the oppossite of dogs and cats! When they lay down and both put their heads down, they are asking to be groomed, and the one that grooms…[Read more]

Thank you DanaNM for the warm welcome! Also, is there no quote function on this forum? Couldn’t find it so improvising. 🙂
“I think the main problem is lack of consistency. Bonding only 10-20 minutes once a twice a week is usually not enough to make any real progress. Ideally once you start the process you work with them every day. Skipping a…[Read more]

Beau Bunny started the topic It's official: Beau hates Timothy hay in the forum DIET & CARE 6 years, 4 months ago
Hi everybody! I hope all is well with you and your buns. (sorry that sounded weird)
Beau doesn’t touch his Timothy hay. For a while I was out of alfalfa, so he only had that, and barely made a dent in it. I even tried changing his hay daily, and now keeping his alfalfa in the smaller hay feeder thing so the timothy is easier to get to, but he…[Read more]
