I used to put her hay on one end, and the litter box on the other end and she would be peeing and poking over the whole cage. Last night I put the hay over to the side of the litter box and the litter box was completely soaked with pee and poo this morning!

Since she’s only 8 weeks old, I’m doubting dental problems. A runny eye can be caused by a blocked tear duct or even a URI. If it’s dry right now, you could try cleaning it up and then seeing if it comes back. If it doesn’t come back, then it could be eye irritation (dust, hay poked eye, etc.).

I haven’t used it before. It isn’t listed on MediRabbit, but I believe it is being used “off-label” for rabbits (like many other antibiotics).

Hormonal behaviors should not be confused with personality. Generally speaking, yes, bunnies do change after spaying/neutering. The hormonal behaviors are gone (or greatly reduced) and their true personality starts to shine through.

It could be that they mean they need a lot of room. Perhaps “inside” is to dissuade people who simply keep rabbits in a cage (though people also keep rabbits in hutches outside).

Regardless, it is objectively safer for a rabbit indoors, barring any other pets of danger are away and the area is adequately bunny proof.
