Yes, Wick is correct. My family is not going to “take things to the extreme,” but we want to know what Hunny has so we can treat it (within reason, of course; we’re staying away from invasive procedures). And haha I understand what you mean about the banana! I tried it once with some pair (I don’t remember which anymore) and it was WAY too much excitement and totally backfired.

In 100% honesty I fear the banana method with Wick. There is no way physically I could get it on Fable’s head without swatting him and holding him. He won’t jump over a 10in wall, but if there’s banana, he will try and scale a human. Fable also loves banana so I don’t think either would settle to let it happen, haha.

Wick provided some very good advice. She is absolutely right. Taking things to the extreme just to find answers may not be worth it in the long run because the treatment and outcome will be the same. Hay racks you buy from the store are usually too small, but people diy their own all the time. I sewed my own hay bag. I know Victoria Raechel and 101 Rabbits have videos on youtube about the hay racks they use. I keep fresh hay in my rabbit’s litter box and I fill up my hay bag when it gets empty.

That’s very interesting! And sounds like good progress! Glad you experimented with the pen size. It is interesting to me how some buns do better with small pens, others with large.
