Have you seen her pee there? Asking because sometimes when there is pee right next to the box, it’s because the bun actually hops in the box, but then hangs their bum off the side and pees outside the box. :p

I agree that the behavior is likely due to hormones.  It can be difficult to fully litter box train a rabbit that isn’t spayed or neutered.  She may not entirely use her litter box until she has been spayed and a few weeks have passed for the hormones to abate.

It does sound like she’s eating a good amount, but if she’s left with just the pee’d on hay, you should give her even more. 🙂 I like to give my buns hay in both their box and in a rack, just to make sure they always have clean hay available. They usually go for what’s in the box first, then for the rack.

Hello! Since she’s only 3 months old i wouldn’t think it would be hormonal. Does she poop outside the litter box? It could still be hormonal but I don’t know. The others could probably give better advice!

Mannn! so today he was neutered but I booked him in for a spay, when I got there I was filling out his health forms while they checked him and the vet nurse came out and said congrats you have a girl! Maybe after a bit they will just feel like they put their mark on it and chill? I saw a youtube video by Lennon the Bunny on stopping peeing on bed. It wasn’t helpful for my couch situation as much, but maybe it would have some idea for you to try? Sorry don’t have link handy right now, but should be easy enough to find.
