I actually sew and make my own hay racks/bags. I sew a basic bag with straps and a hole for hay to be eaten out of and leave the top edge open to stuff hay inside. I also use thumbtacks to attach paper grocery bags to the wall and cut a hole in the front and show hay inside. I also use various boxes like tissue boxes, shoe boxes, etc.

I LOVE all the bunny jobs! ๐ Trixie, keep an eye on Rose, you never know when she might leave in the middle of naptime. Louie, keep showing those bunnies how to ‘professionally’ flop. Dorian, the Great Star Curtain will protect you, stay under! ๐

I used a rack that is meant to hold toilet paper rolls and just clipped it to the condo wall. ๐ย I’ve also seen people use those containers meant to hold spare plastic grocery bags.

Beau Bunny replied to the topic Odor management in litter box in the forum DIET & CARE 6 years, 2 months ago
I’d make sure there is no underlying health issue first, and then try carefresh paper litter on top of a pee pad. Clean at least every 2 days.. An essential oils plug in in the room won’t hurt either as long as it’s well out of his reach.

Not sure if we’re allowed to share our rabbit Instagram pages, but it would be cool to have a thread of everyone’s rabbit Instagram pages!

Hi friends! Just wanted to let you know Beau had his surgery and he did just fine. He was eating right away at the vet’s office andย is home resting comfortably now.
LOVE this new vet! They were so incredibly detailed in terms of aftercare– even suggesting I video them making a bunny burrito and giving meds… they only do exotics and the tech…[Read more]

Ambient noise is not a bad idea, if I really have to focus working and can’t have Dorian in my room and no one else home to hang out with him that’s what I do. Seems to keep him happier and I have noticed on those days when I don’t he is way more jumpy when I come in the room… it’s like he’s been sitting alone in the quiet and getting more and…[Read more]

Rabbits tend to like to poop where they munch on hay, so may make sense to move it closer to her box. The photo Jeseygirl posted may be an idea. I personally just fill the litter container with hay, he does occasionally kick a couple out but all in all it works.

Thanks guys ๐ pre-bonding for another 2 weeks and I will start the bonding process.
just short eating sessions for now with the daily pen swap.
He’s stopped spraying me and the walls for a week now and doesn’t zoom around like a nutcase anymore, so I can see some improvement.

Louiethebunny replied to the topic Tropiclean Pet Spray in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 6 years, 2 months ago
While it doesn’t sound particularly unsafe for rabbits, I wouldn’t recommend using sprays or fragrances on rabbits. They clean themselves meticulously and shouldn’t really smell. I’m not familiar with the product but rabbits don’t really need any products to maintain their hygiene.
