@Liv: staining from hay in the litter box can be prevented by adding a litter screen or moving her hay around. My bun pees in the back of the box, so I put the hay in the front and litter in the back. you can also hang hay over the litter box In a hay bag or hay rack so she isn’t sitting in it.

So do you guys think I should leave it alone? Or should I make an appointment?

@Louiethebunny she is a little over 1 year.

Maybe it is from the litter box. Do you know if there is anything I can do to prevent this? Also, her tail hair sometimes falls out in hunks. Is that normal during the time when they molt?

If they are fighting very badly, you will need to separate then restart the bonding process. It is also possible they weren’t fully bonded.

Yeah, vaccines aren’t required in the US for rabbits, so the vaccines need to be imported. I hope I can get one for Louie because his one year vet visit is coming up in a few months.

We have gone backwards. You can clean her paws with baby wipes, preferably unscented. To prevent her paws from getting soaked, I think the best thing would be to put more litter in the box. If she’s the type of bun who digs away the litter before she pees, a litterbox with a screen would be good. You still put litter on top of the screen, but most of the pee drains…[Read more]
