I think I would wait until her spay is sorted out. I am also thinking that if for whatever reason her uterus never forms but she still has ovaries, her hormones will be more stable once she is more mature.

Unfortunately, rabbits really like peeing on soft things, so the best way to stop it from happening is to prevent access to the bed and/or make the bed an unpleasant place. Some people place a shower curtain or some sort of tarp over their bed when not in use, so it’s less attractive to pee all over. Some people also try to get their rabbit to use…[Read more]

“extremely hungry” can also simply be the rabbit’s energy towards food. Many rabbits will go crazy for pellets because they taste so good. It is not unusual for an adult rabbit to get only 1 tablespoon or 1/4 cup of pellets a day only — the rest is all hay and a bit of veggies.
It is good that you’ve tried only once feeding pellets, and a part…[Read more]

11AM to 5-6PM sounds about right for when a rabbit typically sleeps, so I wouldn’t be too concerned if they are routinely inactive during those times.
Are both rabbits fixed and have they always been together?

Thank you Pwincess 🙂 I’m wish I could take him out but I live in an apartment and the outside isn’t too safe for him but I’ll try the baby food. I contacted the vet and left a message bc he’s not there today so hopefully he gets back to me ASAP. Thanks again!

This can absolutely be about the other bunny in the the house. Rabbits have a very keen sense of smell. Kovu could have picked up the scent from your clothes or skin. Rabbits are highly territorial.
Hopefully he will calm down soon, when he gets used to the scent of the other bun. What are your plans for the new bun?

Im sorry to hear Cocoa isn’t doing well:( I had an EC bun who basically did the same thing. Maybe to entice Cocoa to eat more hay you could mix in some alfalfa. If he’s not going for that what really helped my bun was taking him out in the yard to graze. You could also try putting baby food with mostly veggies in it on his greens if he’s not ea…[Read more]

Hii. I have two 5 months old mix rabbits and they’re outdoor rabbits (my parents don’t allow them indoors). We keep them in the cage at night and they’re free in our garden from dawn until around 7pm like that. When they get out of their cage in the morning they would run hop binky and eat. Then around 11am they will hide behind any of the plants…[Read more]

My rabbit, Kovu, sleeps next to my bed every night since he was neutered in March. Before he got neutered he would pee everywhere on my bed but since then he only pees in his litter box. However, I woke up in the middle of the night to him aggressively scratching his bed, I ignored and went back to sleep and when I woke up an hour later he had…[Read more]

Hi guys,
Sorry if this is so long, I don’t know what to do anymore. My bunny Cocoa hasn’t been the same for about 3 weeks now. I took him to the vet bc he wasn’t being as active as he usually is and he started developing a head tilt when he would lay down or eat. He ended up having a middle ear infection and a sore hock, the vet noticed his walki…[Read more]

Yes, i am feeding approximately 1/3 cup each meal. I tried to reduce this amount, but he gets extremely hungry. I tried to give him pellets only once a day, hoping that he will eat hay instead, but it didn’t happen. I got him a chew-a-bowl, hopefully it will help.

Hi, I don’t know if people have already asked this but other forums on google haven’t been able to help. My bunny jack likes to pee on my bed while I’m sleeping in it so sometimes he pees on me. I know its a territory thing but I’m sick of washing my sheets every day. He’s just over a year old and neutered he didn’t start doing this until about a…[Read more]

Unfortunately the aggression is anywhere, whether neutral space or not. I have not yet tried other forms of bonding besides putting them in the xpen with me in it. I’ll try again in a few weeks maybe, a couple of different methods. Unless it’s better for me to wait until her spay situation is figured out? Not sure what move to make at this poi…[Read more]
