So I called my vet and their rabbit vet isn’t in today. I’ve also called 8 other vets around me and none of them can see her. I’m not really sure what to do

How long have you had her? My buns definitely vary in the way they shed. Some it’s not as noticeable, other’s look like they got attacked by a weed whacker. Some seem to go through multiple really bad sheds a year, other’s just 1 really bad 1 plus other lighter ones.

I would call the vet. Since she was just spayed, she may need more pain meds and supportive care. They may be able to give you pain meds without seeing her but will be able to advise. It could be that she just needs more syringe feeding and pain management.

Oh yes, 90 is hot! No one has AC in my region either so we all turn into big babies when it gets into the mid- 80s!

No more poops so far. I’m thinking of calling the vet now. What do you think? I have a history of calling the vet when it’s not necessary, I’m prone to panicking 🤪

I worried about giving her a tummy rub because she was spayed a couple weeks ago and I don’t want to hurt her

It’s great that she ate the critical care herself and she has been pooping. While that doesn’t mean the worry is over, that’s a great sign.

I just gave her some critical care and she basically ate it herself (I didn’t have any pineapple) I think she pooped. I found three or four poops on her bed and I’m 90% sure it was clean before. I’m going to wait a little longer to see if she poops anymore

You might be a little mistaken on that just based on the fact that some rabbits look absolutely awful when they’re molting. Two of my rabbits still look nice and the 3rd one has ugly lines in his hair due to his coloring and he blows his coat so he constantly has these but mangy looking clumps of hair. Yes I would give critical care and a tummy rub ASAP, and get her to the vet if she doesn’t perk right up. If it is just gas it should resolve quickly, but the pain and lack of appetite from it can cause stasis to set in.

Generally buns do OK without too much cooling help until it gets above 80 F. But of course things are relative… I can tell you’re in the PNW since 75 F seems warm to you!

I do have a very good vet I can call. I was just going to wait another hour because that’s when the meds are supposed to kick in. She’s been drinking on her own fine.  I’ll try the critical care. I’ll try the pineapple too, thanks

Are her ears cold? It would be good to keep her temperature up as well. It’s good that she pooped, but she should eat. I would try and get some critical care in her as well as some water. Do you have a vet you can get to at this time ?

The last I have seen her eat was over 12 hours ago. She pooped one last night, I’m not sure what time.

If your rabbit hasn’t poo’d or eaten in 12 hours, it is an emergency and she needs to be taken to the vet.  How long ago was “last night”? How long ago since she last ate / poo’d?
