😀 Louie is an eye-open sleeper, and he has light brown eyes, so when he sleeps all flopped over in the sunlight, I get worried, but he’s always fine. Lola sleeps with her eyes closed, but every now and then I catch her dozing off while sitting up with her eyes open, and it’s a funny sight.

She might be slowed down by some hair, but because she is eating and behaving pretty normally, I would just keep an extra eye out for a few days. What you have going for her seems really good, so maybe monitoring her through the next day and make sure everything is good. Louie’s current carrier is a hard-sided one that opens at the top which was great for when he knew my tricks and wouldn’t go in himself. Luckily, there are a ton of a similar style for all sizes on Facebook being sold or given away for cheap, so I’m sure I’ll find a good one, and maybe splurge on a fun looking soft-sided one too.

SO CUTE! Bonds with tiny and large buns are sometimes the absolute funniest, imagine seeing them both flopped over together, one being tiny and the other stretching out a ton, haha. I bet Joey makes him look even tinier! They are going to be a match made in heaven!

Just wait until you see her sleeping with her eyes open, full body twitches. I guarantee you’ll be compelled to poke her just to be sure!

@HipHopBunny He is soooo tiny! I’m going to have to put a little step for him when I get a litter box. Joey really is just ears and butt. LOL.

He has a white spot on his nose, a white spot on his chest, and one white paw, and the other paw has a white underfoot.

I just noticed, does Tater Tot have little white paws? He is too cute! 🙂

@Sonn He is more like a hamster than a rabbit! But he is adorable nonetheless. 🙂 Your description of Joey made me laugh, 15lbs bun butt 😆 They are a strange-looking pair, but each amazing in their own merit. They will make an outstanding pair. 🙂

Now that he is home I just can’t get over how small he is. I guess seeing him with other bunnies made him look bigger if that makes any sense.

I mean this hay box he is in is 8″ wide and 12″ long and 4″ high and he can barely hop into it!

I definitely recommend a hard carrier with a door on the top. They are sold as cat carriers since cats have a reputation for being difficult to remove from their carrier. However, the same concept is true with rabbits. It’s just easier than blindly reaching inside and trying to pull them out once at the vet.

Thank you @pinkiemarie I appreciate your input. I can see how much he enjoys just being left alone. He is very fat as well. A big chonk of sweetness. Will definitely follow to advice to wean him off slowly. Its going to be a rewarding experience. My family and I really love these little buns 🥰🥰

Thanks hiphopbunny! No, he hasn’t been looking up thank goodness. I really wish those meds had worked, they were so darn expensive😫 My mom was looking it up and said it might be something with his teeth? He’s just really young so I didn’t think that sounded right…
