When I got my rabbit, he was very outgoing. When I opened his pen on the second day to refill his water dish, he hopped out to explore. I guess it depends on your rabbit and it’s personality/how fast it adjusts to it’s new home. Have fun with your new furry friend and thanks for researching beforehand❤️

yes she is on meloxicam and tummy meds and now we have started enroflaxacin, I’ve run out of CC and delivery date for that is for 10 days later, for now she’s being fed a makeshift CC of zupreem guinea pig pellets and some basil leaves and banana.

I dont think pellets can be too big. Problems can arise with too small pellets, greedy rabbits can inhale small pellets and choke on them. Toys are everywhere too, and I moved them around so he has to look for them etc. I feel sometimes he would benefit from a bunny relationship as he follows me and grooms me a lot. It’s on my plans but I have to move cities soon so I’ll wait for that to happen first.

Is he neutered? Not neutered rabbits tend to be more aggressive, territorial, and overall not that fun to be around. If he is neutered, then my second guess would be that he is just not that ready to open up to another ‘hoomin 😉 ‘ yet because of his last experience. You will get there, but all good and memorable bonds take time. 🙂

Unfortunately, this is a common problem that happens before rabbits are neutered. But as you said, neutering should take away the sharp edges. If he gets really bad about his territory (And it sounds like he already is) then I would recommend gardening gloves. I too would suspect a dental problem. The most common cause for low platelets is a (bacterial) infection of some type. Hopefully the enrofloxacine will help with that.
