Thank you, @pinkiemarie 🙂 Knock on wood, but I have not seen any bald patches. I think you’re right and we’re just dealing with a normal (albeit heavy) molt. It was the degree of molting and size of the tufts I was pulling out from Hunny’s lower coat that was getting me worried.

It lasts way beyond the best before date if you keep it in the freezer. I used a 2 year old bag last fall with my bun without any problem.

I wouldn’t worry about that fur unless you start seeing bald patches. That’s what Wal’s bum looks like during a heavy molt. Just keep checking in on her like you have been to make sure she doesn’t develop any bald spots as that would indicate that it’s something other than a heavy molt. Yes! I’ve already tried that and he fell fast asleep to it! It definitely  works! That was the first time I’ve seen him flop and it was adorable! He done it 3 times since then. I tried again just a bit ago getting on his level and letting him investigate and this time he jumped on my legs and sat there for a while. It looks like we’re making progress!

I dont think Panacur interacts much with other drugs. I found a mention of diazepam being used to control seizures and fenbendazole as the best drug to suppress e cuniculi.

Freezer. It lasts a very long time in the freezer.

Sounds good. 🙂 One thing I like to do with my buns is play some soft piano, and they LOVE it. You sound like a good friend for your bun, I’m sure you two will get along great.

My bun get’s certain corners where he get’s obsessive about digging in corners, blankets especially add to it. I find making the area less appealing get’s him to stop after a while. LBJ, I absolutely will request it.  I’m going to see if they can mix Panacur with….is it Diazapam for seizures?   I can never remember the name.  She’s going in tomorrow.
