My apologies, SIX weeks old. (Technically six and a half now.) The breeder told us that six weeks was the appropriate time to be separated. 🙁

Bun Jovi loves kisses and will tooth purr while getting them, but then again she pretty much loves any kind of attention as long as he’s not being picked up! He always comes back from the bunny sitter’s house with lipstick all over him LOL

Rabbits cannot be separated from their mother until they are around 8 weeks old. Are you sure your rabbits are 4 weeks old, and if so, are they still with their mother? Clarification on age is important.

Thank you for your reply, it made my boyfriend and I feel much better! We did notice she likes piano music, I’ll try keeping it on through the day. I’m also going to put up a blanket on the fence into the living room right now, so hopefully that works.

You are giving her a good life, don’t feel as though she is unhappy! I think the reason you aren’t seeing her zooming around in the day, is because rabbits are most active in the dusk and dawn hours, so she could just be getting out her binkies then, and sleeping during the day.

I don’t think it really matters what he likes best. Sure, any animal (or child for that matter) would prefer to go where it wants and do as it pleases, but only up until the day something bad happens.
