My previous post isn’t showing up yet, but something I want to add that I can’t believe I didn’t think to mention until now: to my knowledge, none of these vets have sampled Hunny’s abscess to find out what bacteria we’re dealing with.

I hate to be negative, but the longer you delay the appropriate treatment, the harder it will be to cure.

I also hate to dump a sick rabbit on a rescue, but I do agree with Hazel that there is a clear treatment path here, and someone else might be more willing to do what is needed.
