@kanin, looked up grulla horse and they are very pretty! I can certainly see a bit of a similar pattern. Some even had the white feet!
Thanks everyone for the congrats š When I went to the shelter that day I was really just looking, my original intention was to get two larger and older buns, but sometimes a bun picks you and I have zero regrets.

It looks like a mouse. Could it have come with the hay? These things happen occasionally, surprisingly not very often though.

I don’t have a car, so that makes local a little harder… I may try and look into it though and rent one for the day in the future, being able to see the hay when I buy it would make a huge difference. I ended up getting a smaller order of SPS, hoping I can then just mix it in and with the batch I have.Ā But Thank you everyone for…[Read more]

My bunny Pinky shook his head and itched his ears a lot when I adopted him. The vet used a microscope and saw ear mites. He was treated with revolution and has gotten better.
Maybe itās early ear mites? Maybe too deep to be able to see with just your eyes. Iāve seen some people say that they can get loose fur stuck in their ear from shedding tha…[Read more]

<p style=”padding-left: 40px;”>It looks fuzzy to me. Is it some kind of small animal that snuck in and died? Or does it look like one of the bunnies fur? Maybe a part of a plushie? I would put gloves on and pick it up to get a closer look. Very strange.</p>

My eyes are a little messed up, but that looks like a mouse or other small rodent to me? If it is, it could have crawled in there and one of the bunnies hit it or something? Or it could have possibly been in the hay?

Hi everyone, today I woke up after a night of Louie and Lola free roaming, and when I went to check on their litter boxes and xpen, I found something strange in one of them. I’m concerned and I’ve never seen anything like this in their litter boxes before.Ā

Noodletherabbit awwww maybe our bunnies have something similar going on. This is the first time Iāve seen this poop from him, but I donāt always look through the litter box.
It could be gas, Iām not sure. :/ I just made a vet appointment for Friday and hopefully weāll get all these issues sorted out.

But itās been getting more and more noticeable. Heās even shaking his head now before he itches. Iām worried he will get head tilt. I checked his ears for mites, some people say only a microscop…[Read more]

I used to order the big 50 lb boxes of Oxbow from Dr. Fosters and Smith, and was pretty happy with it. Not the best, but better and cheaper than the pet store’s stock. I think they have been absorbed into another company but not sure which.
My fav online hay was Sierra Valley Hay, but unfortunately they are no longer in business. Too bad because…[Read more]

Iāve used Rabbit Hole Hay a bunch of times and have never been disappointed by the quality and itās about the same price as SPS. Iām currently using their mountain grass hay which is soft and the buns love it. Iām also currently using timothy hay I got from a brand called Brytin on Chewy thatās good quality, and reasonably priced as far as bulk h…[Read more]
