Here’s some pics of the good boy 🙂

We discovered a great way to exercise him… put a “da bird” cat toy on the end of line on a fishing pole and he will go nuts chasing it!

    Hey everyone!

I have a 2.5 yr old neutered male holland lop, Dumbo. He rarely had GI issues before, and his diet had always been grass hay (mostly timothy, combined with oat, orchard…etc.) + oxbow essential pellet + veggies (3 types per day) and occasionally fruits. About three weeks ago we learned that oxbow essential pellet contains soy and…[Read more]

Rabbits do like to dig and nip their owner. My rabbit likes to dig in my hair in the middle of the night, fortunately not every night. This is probably to gain my attention.

Many rabbits also like to pee where the favorite human has been sitting, especially in sofas or beds (soft fabrics often inspire peeing in general).

    This type of behavior…[Read more]

If he is eating like normal and seems ok, its not a super-emergency. It could of course still be good to call the vet and ask, if the eye discharge persists.

Appetite and poop (amount, shape and condistency) are things to keep an eye on. That he comes running for treats is great!

The discharge from the eyes come and go.

The bunny seems to be happy and he spends all day eating.

If it Is snuffles is it an emergency?

Or do i have time to somthing change?

A “bunny cold” (which contrary to human colds often are caused by bacteria) can cause discharge from the eyes, especiallu if its from both eyes. If that is the case, the drops may not be sufficient. He could need oral antibiotics to fight the infection. The fact that he is less active suggests that something isn’t quite right with him.

    Other…[Read more]

DanaNM Thank you. It makes me nervous to do this. :/ Have you done it before with a rabbit?
And what would be the next step?

Hey guys need help, my rabbit has been doing this weird thing where she looks like she is following an object with her eyes, but there isn’t anything moving. Kinda like when you spin for a while and your eyes keep moving. I’m worried she may have vertigo. Any help would be appreciated

    Hello,

Over summer I’ve taken in 3 rabbits from a school (they were a 4 but one passed before coming to us). They got on pretty well in our garden with the odd chase and hump. They were 2 sisters and mum. We had them spayed in November so brought them inside to recover, the mum (Stripey) needed some extra care and nursing back to full health so…[Read more]

    Hey friends

I’m new to this forum, so excuse me in advance if I’m making mistakes.

I have two very cute dwarf rabbits about 4 months old.

They are male and female and they are bonded, the male is neutered and the female is not yet.

They live indoors in a cage of 70 cm by 140 cm and the cage is open all the time we are at home
