Hm, I have doubts that just a water bowl vs bottle problem would cause such severe irritation and scabbing. In terms of dental, unless you had xrays done, they most likely mean grinding down spikey portions of the back teeth that might be hurting your rabbits cheeks/tongue. Thank you for your reply! I just called the hospital and he’s eaten a bit unassisted overnight so they’re letting him come home this evening. Good to know I can supplement with the CC in my freezer if I need to 🙂

Crirical Care lasts a very long time in the freezer. I had to use old CC last year for my bun when he was ill. That bag had been in the freezer for about 2 years.

Just checked the litter box to see that he passed some misshapen poops and then some cecotrophes. He was also laying in his litterbox which isn’t like him but I’m attributing that to not feeling like himself.
