Hi, other what what Hazel said (diet could be the culprit) I have a few other thoughts. First is he neutered? If not that could help.

I use the exact same litter box set up. I only put a handful of litter in corners but change it out 3x a day. I have 2 rabbits and could maybe get away with 2x, but thinking maybe if you did it daily could help…[Read more]

My rabbits used to do that when in a pen, I had to put bricks around the pen strategically to keep it from moving. And yeah rabbits don’t respond to discipline so a lot of trial and error in bunny proofing has been my experience.  I think they have a lot of energy and are curious so it’s just their nature to want to go run and explore 🙂  The m…[Read more]

Sounds like he might be stepping on excess cecotropes? If so that would mean his diet is too rich. What and how much are you feeding him?

How much time does she get out of her pen each day?

Also, don’t push her head down. It won’t do any good. Rabbits don’t do that to each other so it really means nothing to her. At best it will confuse her, at worst it will reinforce the behavior you’re trying to discourage because she probably thinks this is your attempt at grooming her (the…[Read more]

So sorry for your loss, Sonn. 😥

Mr. Bit is very cute! Are the clothes something he’s just used to or does he need them to stay warm?

If you’re having trouble taking pictures, try taking a video and see if you can get a good still frame from it.

<p data-xf-p=”1″>How can I stop my rabbit (14week female) from biting her pen and moving it around? The pen is attached to her cage and she has normal access to it most of the day apart from through the night. She has been really good with her routine for the past 5 weeks of having her, but now she makes so much noise to be out through the night…[Read more]

Adopted a Holland Lop a couple months ago, he’s 2.5 yrs old. His previous owners were using a tiny litter box with only pine shavings. I switched him to a much larger litter pan lined with a puppy pad, paper pellet litter and topped off with a good amount of hay. I change it every other day or 2nd day (I also add extra hay to it continually). I…[Read more]

I’m okay on and off but I guess that’s to be expected.

Mr. Bit is not easy to get pictures of. It takes around 30-40 to get one where he isn’t a speedy blur. I’ve been trying to get one of him in his “motorcycle” jacket but so far no luck.

I also have a large dog and it’s terrible trying to find things for her. I’m lucky if I find her a collar…[Read more]

Unfortunately, the problem may be something you can’t see on the outside. Wick provided a good link that takes you to a list of possible causes. Without knowing what the actual cause is, you won’t know how (or if) it can be treated.

OMG, look at all of them together! They are so adorable! I agree with Wick… not a pleasant experience, but totally worth it.

I agree with everyone seeing those 4 bunnies together is so adorable!  Hopefully they got to stay together at the hotel. And your cat claiming the bed!  I’m glad everyone had a good first day.

I don’t have direct experience, but rabbits with chronic watery eye is not unheard of: https://rabbit.org/chronic-runny-eyes-in-rabbits/

As you can see, there are many potential causes, with some being treatable and others not, and assessments are required to really figure out which is the cause. In the meantime, it’s important that you are…[Read more]

Hello everyone. My bunny started having some clear watering out of her right eye almost 2 months ago. I took her to the vet a couple days after it started and they said her cornea was scratched and gave me an antibiotic. After I finished the eye drops the vet had me come back in and looked at her eye. They said it was 100% healed and that I could…[Read more]
