Please don’t feel bad, you’ve done so much to try and help her get better. Finding a good vet is hard. I’ve been through more than I care to count. It sounds like your new vet is getting to the bottom of it, that’s the important thing. 🙂  I hope she can start her treatment soon.

I use puppy pee pads with the recycled newspaper in the corners, then try to keep the hay on one side, though one of mine just pees all over the hay. I end up replacing it all the time which gets expensive but easy/ doesn’t smell too bad and better than when she wouldn’t pee in the box. His poop is just fine. No different than normal. I haven’t weighed up but can start. I’m used to that from when I had rats.

Oh yeah he most likely stinks because he’s not neutered. A nice fluffy hay layer should encourage him to use it.

I used to use carefresh, but I think pine pellets have better odor control.

BinkyBunny’s bun Jack got obsessed with mounting when he had a bladder stone, so it could be that he’s having a urinary issue. Combined with the reduced appetite, I would have him checked out by the vet.

Thanks! I didn’t realize that spring hormones was a thing even for fixed rabbits… Theo has been peeing a lot on things recently so maybe that’s it. In fact, he JUST peed on his bed….. 🙄  I’ll probably at least wait it out through this season if that’s a contributor.

More pre-bonding can really help things, so it sounds like you are set up for success.

I would keep doing side swaps for a few weeks.
