I think best to call your vet, and maybe send them a picture. Are you sure there were sutures to begin with? Sometimes with neuters they are just glued, or the sutures are internal so you can’t see them.

You might need to confine her to a pen in the new space until she gets “organized” again. It also might help to keep litter boxes in both places, as she might always remember the old room as a potty-spot.

I just moved cross country with 4 buns, and drove 8-12 hours a day. Oof!
I would have some critical care, simethicone, and fluids with you. Have some favorite greens in a little cooler, and half way through the trip take a long-ish break (at least 30 min) and offer wet greens and some hay. I never syringe fed during the driving part as I could…[Read more]

Not a cecotrope poop. I know the flop. This is different. When my bunny wakes up, it seems to be experiencing a muscle spasm. At the beginning of the video 00:02 second. I’m uploading the video again.

EC is treated with a dewormer (fenbendazole: brand name, among others, Panacur) for 4 weeks, plus metacam against inflammation and sometimes Baytril (broad spectrum antibiotic). The treatment would not interfere with treatment for a joint or back problem related to bone or cartilage. There are tests, but as Hazel says, they can produce false…[Read more]

Hi and welcome to the BB forums!
I translated your post, but I haven’t figured out how to make your video visible. I’ve asked the other moderators for help with this.
I have watched the video, and for what it’s worth, I can’t see anything abnormal in it. Young rabbits can look almost like they are having a seizure when they flop out, and also…[Read more]

This is bam, I’ve translated this with Google translate:
Hello, now I have a 6 month old Dutch dwarf rabbit. My rabbit stiffened when he woke up.
It also stretches. My rabbit is not in pain. I showed it to the vet, but I don’t think they understand.
I added a video It makes 2 seconds at the beginning of the video. Does anyone know why? -

Thank you Wick 😛 , that’s so kind of you, do you have links to academic papers? How useful!
it’s useful to have this electronically, as I only have it in hard copy through my ophthalmologist:)
She’s on a steroid now, but one eye looks a bit of a mess. I’m hoping it will clear, but it’s only been a few days!

Hello!
I have two bunnies, one of which has made the 7hr road trip twice with me before and done well with it! Some gut slow down, but always has made a recovery on her own within 2hrs of arriving at our destination. I recently got a pal for her, who she is not sold on yet. I unfortunately have to make the trip with both of them as single buns,…[Read more]

Do examine the poop! It’s actually not weird at all for bun owners 😀 We’re all pretty much obsessed with bun poop!
If there is no poop for 6-12 hours (during the day, when most buns aren’t very active, there may not be any poop because the bun system is in resting-mode, which is completely normal), it’s time to contact a vet. You seem well…[Read more]

You’d be very surprised how hardy rabbits can be! My rabbit Bunty almost devoured whole brushes that were made of rubber! I was so sick with worry but her behavior, appetite and poops hadn’t changed and she turned out fine. Our newest addition to our home has fur mites and it’s caused so much anxiety for me. But I always think of what I can do to…[Read more]

Thank you for your reply. I was so worried! Thank you for the information, it was very helpful! She went through a lot of changes, not to mention her digestion issues and that’s what probably caused the mites’ surge in numbers. I hope they can help me at the vet’s!
