Update! I tried stress bonding for the first time today as the two were getting along decently well. Did a 15 min car trip with them in the same carrier, and they cuddled up during it! He might have been neutered a little too early. I know he was several months old but I don’t think he was 9-12 months old. He was probably close to being full grown.
